Privacy Policy

1.1 The persons in charge of the protection of personal information at S.E.S are Valerio Zeffiro and Anthony Zeffiro. For any question, request or complaint: info@ses-mtl.com or 514-321-3211.

2.1 Quote requests. Name, email, phone, type of request, event date and details and, where applicable, company name and address and contact person’s name.

2.2 Job applications. Name, email, phone, department, availability, experience, message and, if you attach it, your CV.

2.3 Rentals and services. For a rental or contract, we collect your name, address, date of birth, the type of ID checked and your payment information. We do not keep copies of your ID and never require your health insurance card.

2.4 Browsing. Our site stores your language and theme (light or dark) choice in your browser. Our host compiles general visit statistics (number of visits, pages viewed, referring sites). We use no advertising or tracking tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel.

3.1 We use your information only to: answer your requests and prepare quotes; perform our rental and service contracts; verify renters’ identity and recover equipment when needed; invoice and collect amounts owed; assess job applications; and meet our legal obligations, including tax obligations.

3.2 We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4.1 By sending us a form or entering into a contract, you consent to the use of your information for the purposes in section 3. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.

4.2 We do not knowingly collect information about a person under 14 without the consent of their parent or tutor.

5.1 Only authorized S.E.S staff who need your information for their work have access to it.

5.2 We share it only when necessary: with our technology service providers (see section 6), with police, a bailiff, a lawyer or an insurer in case of theft, non-return or a dispute, or where the law requires or permits.

6.1 Our website, forms and database are hosted by Lovable on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States (Oregon), and the site is delivered through Cloudflare’s global network. Notification emails are sent through Lovable’s email service. Your information may therefore be stored outside Québec.

6.2 Before entrusting your information to these providers, we assessed that they offer adequate protection, and they may use it only to provide their services.

6.3 Our Contact page shows a Google Maps map and our site uses Google Fonts. Google may therefore receive your IP address and set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.

7.1 We use only functional cookies and local storage: ses-lang (chosen language) and ses-theme (light or dark mode), plus a login session for staff only. They are not used to identify, locate or profile you.

7.2 You can delete or block them in your browser settings. The site will still work, but your language choice will not be remembered.

8.1 We keep your information only as long as needed: quote requests that did not proceed, 2 years; job applications, 12 months; contracts and invoices, 6 years after the end of the fiscal year concerned, as tax laws require. It is then securely destroyed.

9.1 We protect your information with reasonable measures: access limited to authorized accounts, encrypted passwords, private storage of CVs and time-limited download links. If a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury occurs, we will notify the persons concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.

10.1 You may ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, or receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format. Write to us at info@ses-mtl.com. We respond within 30 days.

10.2 If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

11.1 We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page with its update date.
