A wedding gets one take. The speeches have to be heard at the back table, the first dance has to look like the photos you will keep, and nobody should see a cable or a road case while it happens. S.E.S has produced private celebrations in Montréal venues since 1996, with the same crews and the same gear we bring to galas and festivals.
We work with your venue, your planner, your DJ or your band. You can book us for the whole evening — ceremony sound, cocktail music, uplighting, dance floor lighting, a screen for the slideshow and a technician who stays until the last song — or for a single piece that your venue does not provide.
Everything is installed before guests arrive and struck after they leave. Speakers on discreet stands, cables taped and hidden, warm uplighting matched to your colours, and a bilingual technician on site who handles the microphones so your MC does not have to.

Wedding AV questions
- Do you provide a DJ?
- We are the production company, not the DJ. We supply and operate the sound, lighting, screens and staging, and we work alongside the DJ or live band you hire — including providing them a mixer and connections.
- Can you do an outdoor ceremony with no power?
- Yes. We bring battery or generator power, a compact speaker system and wireless microphones so vows are heard clearly outdoors, plus a rain plan for the gear.
- How much does wedding lighting cost?
- It depends on the room size and how many fixtures it takes. Uplighting packages start small and scale up; send us the venue and guest count and we will quote it precisely.
- Does someone stay for the whole evening?
- Yes. A technician stays on site through the reception to run microphones, music playback and lighting cues, and strikes everything at the end of the night.
